Searching in the New Devices Page – Addigy

Filters can be create at the top or the devices page. These filters are based on all the facts and custom facts in your environment.

1. Select a Policy

Start by choosing the specific Policy you wish to search in. This will also include all children of the selected Policy. Clicking the "X" in the Policy selection box will clear your Policy selection and you will search across all devices in your organization, taking into account any Policy Restrictions for the current user.

2. Select a Fact or Custom Fact

Select a Fact or Custom Fact you wish to search on. Depending on the data type of the Fact you will be able to use "=", "!=" (not equal), ">", "<", and "contains".

When searching for a Device Name, Serial Number or other String value use "Contains". In the example above the Device Name filter will return all devices in the Policy "Addigy Product" that have "big-sur" anywhere in the name.

3. Select a Matching Criteria

Depending on the data type of the selected Fact, choose the appropriate criteria for searching.

4. Select or enter the Value you with to search for

For Facts that are a string or number data type, enter the value you wish to search for.

For Facts that are a boolean choose True of False.

5. Shows you each of the Fact Search values that have been set

You may choose more than 1 Fact and/or Custom Fact to search on.
