Mobile Device Management (MDM) assists Mac admins in enrolling and configuring device settings, whitelisting user prompts, remotely locking and wiping stolen devices, and along with Apple Business Manager, auto-enroll devices into Addigy from Setup Assistant as well as deploy apps to devices using purchased licenses.
Prerequisites
- An Apple Push Certificate, assigned at the Global Level or Policy Level.
After having these setup, you can begin enrolling devices into Addigy MDM with your specific Apple Push Certificate.
- Navigate to the Add Devices page, and from the Select A Policy section, use the drop-down menu to select the policy you wish to add a device to.
- When Installing via MDM there are three options:
- Automated Device Enrollment - This method allows devices that have been added to Apple Business Manager to be enrolled into Addigy from Setup Assistant.
Configuring Automated Device Enrollment - Device Enrollment - Allows you to either download the MDM directly, copy the download link and provide it to your users, or use a QR Code. Once the MDM enrollment profile is on the device, it will need to be manually approved by the end-user.
Approved MDM Profiles - User Enrollment (BYOD) - This method is for personal devices. It will push an MDM with limited control over the device.

- Automated Device Enrollment - This method allows devices that have been added to Apple Business Manager to be enrolled into Addigy from Setup Assistant.
