Setting a wallpaper for an iOS or macOS device using Addigy MDM.
Please note: This requires running an MDM Command to a Device.

A .png or .jpg image file that meets the device model's display specifications: Before setting your wallpaper, it is necessary to ensure the image you are uploading has been resized to match the screen's dimensions. For example, if you are setting the wallpaper for an iPhone 16, the image should be 1290 x 2796 pixels. We recommend referencing Apple's documentation to determine tech specs for the device models in your environment.
Setting a Wallpaper for Lock and/or Home Screens
- Navigate to GoLive > and click `Device Commands > Wallpaper Settings`:
- Select the preferred option to configure the Wallpaper for:
- Select your image
- Confirm your wallpaper is being set for the right device and click OK or Cancel:
- Verify your filename and click `Set Image`:
After you have pressed `Set Image` Addigy MDM will attempt to queue a command on the device. This command will run through Apple's Push Notification system to update the appropriate screen background on the device.
