Device facts will return one of the following data types:
- String - A collection of words
- Boolean - True or False
- Number - Any positive or negative number
- List - a collection of Strings or Numbers
Device Facts can be found on the GoLive Page or the Devices Page. Facts are great for reporting on your machines and can even be used to receive alerts when a machine needs maintenance or leaves compliance by Creating a Monitoring Item. If you need to collect information about your Macs that aren't contained in the default facts available to you, you can create a Custom Fact.
