This article is intended to describe the different permissions available when creating a user role

For more information on creating User Roles check out our KB on Managing user roles within Addigy

https://support.addigy.com/a/solutions/articles/8000054173

The user roles will touch one aspect of the product and include multiple of the following parameters

  • View
  • Delete
  • Create
  • Send
  • Deploy
  • Execute
  • Edit

Note: Without the View option enabled for the aspect, any other parameters enabled would not work. An example of this would be that adding the ability to Delete devices without the View devices would not work as the user could not see the devices to delete.

The following are the different aspects along with the parameters that can be allowed for users.

These will be separated by the page they affect.

  • Devices = The devices from the Devices page
    • View
    • Delete

  • Cancel Commands = Cancel commands from the History/Job Details section of the Devices page.

  • Execute Commands = Running non-predefined commands

  • Execute Commands Multiple Devices

  • View GoLive screenshots

  • Policies = The policies from the Policies page
    • Create
    • Edit
    • Deploy
    • Delete
