You can leverage the Custom Software feature in Addigy to upload the desired Font and Image files you necessary for deployment needs for macOS devices.

Deploying Fonts


1. Create a Custom Software item from the Policies > Custom Software section.


2. Upload the font file(s) you intend to install.


3. Use the following script as part of the Custom Software's Installation Script to move the font file to it's the device's font directory 

Note: replace Font_File with the name of the file you are using and FontDirectory (1.0.0) with the name of the software item and it's associated version:

mv '/Library/Addigy/ansible/packages/FontDirectory (1.0.0)/Font_File' '/Library/Fonts'

(add additional lines of the script if you would like to install multiple fonts)

Deploying Images


1. Create a Custom Software item from the Policies > Custom Software section.


2. Upload the image file(s) you intend to use.


3. use the following script to move the images to the directory on the device you intend users to find the images on.

Note: replace Image_File with the name of the file you are using and ImageDirectory (1.0.0) with the name of the software item and it's associated version:

mv '/Library/Addigy/ansible/packages/ImageDirectory (1.0.0)/Image_File' '/Name/Of/Directory/Goes/Here'



(add additional lines of the script if you would like to copy multiple images)

Applying Images As Wallpapers


If you would like to actually set the Desktop image, you would need to create a custom MDM configuration using the free mac App store application known as iMazing Profile Editor


After installing the application, you can use it configure a Desktop Picture payload where you specify the path to the image that will be used:




Once you have configured and saved the profile, head back to Addigy and upload the file by going to Policies > Catalog > MDM Configuration > Add Configuration + > Custom configuration:




Once you have uploaded and created the config, you can apply the profile to the policy to deploy or apply it to individual devices via their GoLive > Deployments > Profiles (inc. MDM) section.
