The Addigy 2FA Integration allows a secure authentication method that leverages Time-based One-Time Passwords that generates a one-time password (OTP) for a second factor of authentication into your Addigy Account. When enabling this integration, it enforces and requires all user logins to enter a OTP before the authentication is successful into the Addigy Account.


Please note: You must press "Send Invite" for each user to activate and setup the Integration.

 

Prerequisites

  1. Users must have a mobile phone
  2. Users must have an application that supports TOTP (Google Authentication, DUO Mobile App, etc)
  3. Users must have dedicated email addresses in Addigy Account


Setting up the Integration

To enable the Addigy 2FA Integration, navigate to Account > Integrations and select the "Two Factor Authentication" Tile:


Once you have selected the tile, press the toggle in the right hand corner to Enable the Integration:


After you have enabled the Integration, 2FA will be immediately enforced and you will need to press `Send Invite` for users who you wish to access Addigy:



The user will then receive an email at the address provided for them in Account > Users. They will be able to scan the barcode in their Authentication App (Google Auth, Okta Verify, Microsoft Authenticator, or equivalent app).


Once configured, the user will then use their Authenticator App to complete the Addigy Login.


Do this by signing into the user (recommended in a new browser, so you don't lock yourself out) and entering the code from the application into the Addigy 2FA Input and press Authorize:
