If you see the error "Remove users from policy before deleting" when trying to delete a Policy, it means one or more Addigy users are restricted to that policy on their account. You'll need to remove those Policy Restrictions before the Policy can be deleted.
Note: You must have an Owner role in Addigy to complete these steps.
How to Remove Policy Restrictions
- Navigate to Account > Users.
- Identify which users are restricted to the Policy you want to delete.
- If you're not sure, click each user's policy count in the Policy Restrictions column, then use CMD+F (or Ctrl+F on Windows) to search for the Policy name.
- Once you've found an affected user, click the ellipsis (...) under Actions and select Edit.
- In the edit window, deselect the Policy and click Save.
- Repeat for any other users restricted to this Policy.
Once all user restrictions have been removed, return to the Policy and delete it as normal.
If the error persists after following these steps, contact support@addigy.com.
