Requirements for Self Service to Deploy
To ensure the Self Service application is automatically deployed, the following requirements must be met:
- The device must meet Addigy's system requirements.
- You must have enough available licenses from Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. Refer to step one in this article, see step 1.
- The token containing Addigy Self Service licenses must be assigned to the policy (or inherited by the policy), see step 2.
- The device must be in the correct policy, and the device's Location must be set to the desired policy, see step 3.
- There must be at least one application assigned for Self Service to automatically deploy, see step 4.
To verify if the deployment process has started, check the events log for the device. Look for an event from the sender "Addigy MDM" indicating: Queued VPP asset 'Addigy Self Service' installation on device.
The initial deployment of the Self Service application may take up to 30 minutes, though it could be sooner. Once deployed, app assignments and other information within the app update in real-time.
