Overview
A template functions as a building block for a policy, simplifying the process of assembling various configurations into a coherent whole. It offers a convenient mechanism for swiftly implementing a pre-defined set of configurations and settings across multiple devices.
You can also tailor these settings to suit your organization's unique needs. Once you have created the policy, you have complete control over the catalog items that were created, allowing you to fine-tune the configurations.
How to enable Policy Templates Feature
- Go to 'Account' then select 'Settings'.
- Scroll down to the 'Enable Beta Features' section.
- Toggle on the 'Policy Templates' feature flag.
How to create a policy using a template

Select the ‘New’ button found in the top right corner.

Input the name of your new policy.

Select ‘Choose a Template’.

Select a Template.

View the Catalog Items that will be created with this template. Then select the ‘Create’ button.

Once you see the Policy Overview page, your Policy was successfully created using a template.
