With Addigys Splashtop SOS integration you can quickly jump in and view an iOS devices screen to help end users resolve their IT issues swiftly.
Requirements:
- Splashtop must be enabled for your organization and desired policies. If the devices live in a child policy, then Splashtop must also be enabled on the parent policies.
- The iOS/iPadOS device must have Splashtop SOS. It can be deployed via Apps and Books or manually installed by the end user.
- Must be an attending user on the iOS/iPadOS device.
Guide:
- Navigate to the desired devices GoLive Page
- Select Splashtop Remote Control
- Coordinate with a User to connect to their device
Navigate to the desired devices GoLive Page
We start by navigating to the GoLive page for the device that we want to start a session from. You can find your device in the Devices page.
Select Splashtop Remote Control
On the top right of your GoLive pane, you'll see a Splashtop remote control icon, select that to bring up the Splashtop remote control initiation screen.
Coordinate with a User to connect to their device
At this point the user will be required to provide the technician with a 9 digit code. Which the technician will need to type into the Addigy modal we just opened up.
Note: If the end user is in the EU, they will have to click on the bottom right of the Splashtop SOS app and change from EU to Global.
Once the correct code is typed into Addigy. The user will then be prompted to "Start Broadcast" access.
And that's it! You will now be connected directly to the iOS device and will be able to see any actions the end user is taking until they close the session.
