The Device Settings section of GoLive allows for a quick look at the Device Settings that are currently installed on a machine and allows for quick removal as well. You can find this pane by navigating to the GoLive page for your specific device and selecting the Device Settings tab.
In the Remove column, each Device Setting will display one of the following statuses:
- Trash Can Icon - This means the Device Setting was deployed via GoLive. The Setting can be removed by clicking the trashcan icon.
-
In Policy - This means the Device Setting is currently being enforced by the policy the device is in and needs to be removed from the policy to be uninstalled from the device.
Note: Device Settings removed from the policy will automatically remove themselves during the next automatic or manual policy deployment. - MDM - This is the MDM Enrollment Profile and cannot be removed.
- PPPC - This is a Privacy Preferences Policy Control payload deployed by Addigy upon enrollment to ensure full agent functionality silently.
- Service Management - Similarly to PPPC, these are MDM payloads deployed by default to ensure full agent functionality without prompting for permissions.
- Smart Software - This means the relevant Device Setting was deployed via an attached payload in Smart Software.
