Sometimes managing devices as a group doesn't fit the situation, and you need to deploy software to just one device. GoLive lets you do that immediately, without building a separate child policy for a one-off install.
Overview
From a device's GoLive session, you can deploy either your own Smart Software packages or items from Addigy's Prebuilt Apps catalog directly to that device.
How to Deploy Software to an Individual Device
- Find the device on your Devices page.
- Start a GoLive session.
- Navigate to the Software tab.

Select Smart Software for any Smart Software packages you've created, or Prebuilt Apps for the list of available Prebuilt Apps.
Note: Only the latest version of Prebuilt Apps can be deployed via GoLive.
- Find the item you want to deploy and click Deploy.
- (Optional) If the device belongs to multiple policies with variable overrides, select which policy to pull the variable value from before clicking Deploy.
- Click Details to view the deployment's real-time status. Right after deploying, this will read Details Pending.
- Once finished, the status shows Success or Error, based on the output of the software's installation script.
