A .png or .jpg image file that meets the device model's display specifications: Before setting your wallpaper verify the image you are uploading is sized to match the screen's dimensions. For example, if you are setting the wallpaper for an iPhone 16, the image should be 1290 x 2796 pixels. We recommend referencing Apple's documentation to determine tech specs for the device models in your environment.
Set a wallpaper for a single device
- Navigate to the device's GoLive page > Device Commands > Wallpaper Settings
-
Select the preferred option to configure the wallpaper (lock screen, home screen, or lock and home screens).
- Click Select Image and choose the image you want to set.
- When asked if you are sure you want to set wallpaper click on ok. To choose a different image click cancel.
- Verify your filename and click Set Image.
After you have clicked Set Image Addigy MDM will attempt to queue the command to the device. This command will run through Apple's Push Notification system to update the appropriate screen background on the device. You can review the success or execution of the command from the device's GoLive page > Events.

- Select the preferred option to configure the wallpaper (lock screen, home screen, or lock and home screens).
