Every asset you deploy in Addigy lives in the Catalog, and policies determine which devices receive it. Rather than opening each policy and adding the item individually, you can open the item once and choose all of the policies it belongs to.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- At least one policy in your Addigy account.
- The Catalog item you want to deploy already created.
- A user role that includes the Edit Policy Instructions permission.
Note: If the assignment option is unavailable to you, check your user role permissions with an account administrator.
How to Assign a Catalog Item to Multiple Policies
- Navigate to Catalog in the left-hand navigation.

Select the tab for the type of item you want to assign.

Find the item in the list, then open its Actions menu and choose Assignments.
- In the window that appears, select each policy that should deploy the item. Deselect any policy that should no longer receive it.
- Click Save.
Your changes take effect immediately in the Catalog. The item deploys to the selected policies during the next policy deployment window. Policies deploy automatically every 30 minutes.
How to Remove a Catalog Item from Policies
Removing an item follows the same path, which is useful when you are retiring an app or narrowing which devices receive a setting.
- Navigate to Catalog and open the tab containing the item.
- Open the item's Actions menu and choose Assignments.
- Deselect the policies that should no longer include the item.
- Click Save.
