The Addigy Splashtop integration allows you to launch a Splashtop remote control session directly from the Addigy console. From here you will be able to remotely control the device and remediate any issues that may have required you to be physically present on the device.

How To Enable Splashtop
1. On your Integrations page, open the Splashtop settings:
2. Enable the integration and select Policies where it should be available:
You can also enable and disable Splashtop from a Policy's page directly, in the Integrations & Settings tab:
Here you can:
- Enable or disable the integration
- Choose if the end-user will be prompted when a new session is established.
Initiating a Splashtop Session
To initiate a Splashtop session via GoLive, click the Splashtop icon at the top of the page.
Or, on the Devices page, expand any row to find the Splashtop icon:
When launching a Splashtop session for a Mac, you can toggle advanced settings:
- Change the name that appears to the end-user.
- Change the resolution of the session.
- Force close any existing session on the next attempt to open a session.

Before initiating a connection, you will need to install the Splashtop app on your own computer (the remote device requires Splashtop Streamer).

PPPCs for Splashtop
Splashtop requires a PPPC profile in order for full functionality of the app. This PPPC MDM Profile is automatically deployed to macOS devices enrolled into Addigy's MDM. The first time a Splashtop session is initiated on a device, the end user will be presented with the following prompt:
An end-user must manually grant Screen Recording permission to allow full control of their Mac via Splashtop. If microphone functionality is wanted the end user would need to manually grant Microphone permission.

To be able to initiate a remote session using Splashtop, Addigy users will need the following two permissions:
- Run Splashtop
- Execute Commands
- Devices with Splashtop already installed may have a different experience than new enrollments, Splashtop only supports one streamer per device.
