What is Apple Configurator?
Apple Configurator is a free application that serves many purposes, including creating MDM payloads, retroactively adding devices to Apple Business/School Manager accounts after purchase, and supervising devices. It can be immensely useful if a device isn't placed into your Apple Business/School Manager account at the time of purchase, or if you need to manually supervise a device. You can download Apple Configurator from the App Store.
What can I do with it and how do I use it?
One of the major uses of Apple Configurator is to retroactively add macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS devices into Apple Business/School Manager so that they can undergo the Automated Device Enrollment process.
