From the GoLive page of a macOS device, you can see a screenshot of what is currently on the device's display. For more information on GoLive check out our Overview: GoLive article.
Note: To use this setting, ensure it is enabled in your Account > Settings page.
Once on the GoLive page, the Screenshots button on the top-right of the page will open the window to begin viewing the screen.
If the display is currently on, you will see a play button that will capture a screenshot.
If this is the first time the user is being prompted for permission, it will send them a prompt to approve Screen Recording. If the permission has already been granted, it will not prompt for permission again.
If you see a message stating "Display is off", the screen may indeed be off or our Display On device fact has not yet been updated. If you have verified the display is physically on, go ahead and initiate an audit by selecting Refresh Data > Update (Device Information). This will run a device audit which should update the fact information.
