Legacy SSO has been replaced and will be removed after January 31, 2026. Please continue following the steps in this article to transition to our modern SSO infrastructure, which provides enhanced security, improved reliability, SAML 2.0 support, granular access controls, and a streamlined authentication experience.
Step 1: Set Up The New Google SSO Integration
- Follow the instructions in this guide to configure the new Google SSO experience:
Enabling The Addigy Log-In Experience With Google SSO. Verify you have completed all of the steps in the article before proceeding to step 2.
Step 2: Enable IdP-Initiated SSO in Addigy
- In the Addigy Integration Page, scroll down to Login In Options.
- Open the Google SSO Integration.
- Find the option "Allow IdP-Initiated SSO" and ensure it is checked. This setting allows users to initiate sign-in directly from the Google Workspace portal.
Step 3: Verify User Access
Test if users are able to sign in via the Addigy Login page and from the Google Portal:
-
From the Addigy Login Page:
Provide your users with your Organization's unique login URL (found in Account -> Settings) to confirm they can sign in successfully via SSO. -
From the Google Portal:
Users should be able to access Addigy directly from their Google Workspace dashboard after logging into Google.
Note: Please ensure you successfully logged out of your already authorized session, before trying to SSO into Addigy with your new configuration. This ensures you aren't using an already authenticated session on your next login.
Step 4: Disable Legacy SSO
- In the Addigy Integration Page, scroll down to Legacy Login Options.
- Open the Google SSO Integration and disable it.
Note: Do not disable the newly configured Google SSO integration. Only the legacy option should be turned off.
By following these steps, your organization will ensure a smooth transition from legacy Google SSO to the new SSO experience, supporting both security and user convenience.
