When FileVault is enabled via Addigy, you can retrieve a device's escrowed recovery key remotely — either one device at a time via GoLive, or for your entire fleet at once via a CSV export.
Prerequisites
FileVault must have been enabled through one of the following mechanisms for its recovery key to be escrowed to Addigy:
How to View Escrowed Keys via GoLive
- Navigate to a FileVaulted device's GoLive page and select the Security tab.
- In the FileVault Encryption section, any escrowed recovery key is available for download.
How to View Escrowed Keys via a Devices Page Report
Use this option to see FileVault keys for every device in your organization at once.
- Navigate to the Devices page.
- Open the Tools dropdown and select All Data under Export Data as CSV.
- The report is emailed to the address you're currently logged in to Addigy with.
- Once downloaded, find the FileVault Keys column in the CSV.
