- Cancel the Apple Business Essentials subscription (beware that additional iCloud storage will be lost.)
- Sign out of your Managed Apple Account on the device.
- Reassign the device to Addigy in Apple Business Manager. For steps on reassigning MDM servers in Apple Business Manager, follow the section in this guide.
- Once the devices have been assigned to the MDM server attached to an Addigy Policy, click “Scan Now” in Policies > (Your Policy) > Integrations & Settings > Automated Device Enrollment page.
Mac only
- Migrate devices using the migration utility within ABM. Be sure to verify that your devices support this first.
- Alternatively, you could leverage the profiles renew command. Be sure to manually remove MDM prior to leveraging this command, so that Addigy's MDM can install.
iPhone or iPad
- Migrate devices using the migration utility within ABM. Be sure to verify that your devices support this first.
- If devices do not support the above utility in ABM, you must use the Settings app to erase the device, which will then install Addigy's MDM during Setup Assistant. You can erase the device by navigating to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings. Once erased, the device will perform Automated Device Enrollment and enroll in Addigy.
