What Is the Identity Beta Program?
The Addigy Identity Beta Program gives IT teams early access to new Identity features before they are released to all customers. It is designed to give you more control, early visibility, and a chance to provide feedback, all while testing safely in real-world environments.
Why Join the Beta?
- Preview and test new Identity features before general availability
- Select which policies receive the beta version
- Revert to the current production version at any time
- Provide direct feedback to influence future versions
- Prepare documentation, processes, and team training ahead of changes
Important Notes
- The beta version is intended for testing and may include incomplete or evolving features.
- We recommend enabling it on non-critical (test) policies only.
- If you wish to opt out of the beta program you can disable the beta in your policy and devices will revert to the production version on the next policy deployment.
How Admins Enable the Beta Program
Identity Beta is managed at the policy level, allowing you to selectively deploy it to designated test policies.
What Happens When You Enable the Beta?
- When you check the "Enable Beta Program" box in a policy the following will occur:
- Devices in the policy will receive the beta (if a beta build is available).
- If no beta is available at the time, devices will remain on the current production version.
- Once a new beta is released:
- It will automatically deploy to all devices in policies where the beta box is enabled.
- It is not necessary to re-enable the checkbox. Once enable you do not need to re-enable for future beta updates.
