What is Addigy Intelligence?
It's the intelligence layer inside Apple device management, not a separate console or a chatbot bolted onto one. You describe what your Macs need in plain language; the platform supplies the Apple-specific knowledge and the Addigy-specific knowledge, proposes an action, and executes it in real time once you approve.
What's included in Addigy Intelligence?
- AI Script Assistant helps you write and refine scripts by processing information about the script you are creating, including existing script content.
- AI Controls help enforce policies related to AI tools on managed devices. This feature does not itself use AI to process your data.
- Generative Reports lets you describe the report you want in plain language. The AI interprets your request and builds the report's widgets; when you run the report, it is populated with your real device data, not AI generated data.
- Smart Filters lets you build device filters to see real-time device state using plain language descriptions. Processing is limited to public information and fact names.
- Addigy MCP (Model Context Protocol) provides API access that lets your own AI agent or tooling query Addigy data directly.
Do I need to turn these features on?
Yes, you will need to opt in to the Addigy Intelligence Suite to leverage the AI features. You can enable Intelligence Suite within the web app after logging into your account.
Will I know when I'm interacting with AI?
Yes, for features where AI generates content you see directly. AI Script Assistant, Generative Reports, and Smart Filters display a notice indicating the content shown is AI curated.
Does any AI feature take action on my environment automatically, or is a human always in the loop?
The AI features require a human for any action to be taken. No actions are done automatically. Automated agents configured outside of Addigy using third-party AI tooling could possibly execute actions without a human in the loop. Actions will be logged as API Key events.
Can I turn Addigy Intelligence off after enabling it?
Yes, you can turn off Addigy Intelligence or modify user roles so they don't have access to these functions.
Who in my account can use AI features once enabled, and can I restrict it by role?
Owners or Administrators can enable Addigy Intelligence, or users with Custom Roles that can enable Beta Integrations. These features can be controlled by user roles.
How do I report an incorrect AI output?
Each AI feature has a product feedback submission button to provide direct feedback to our product team. If you want to email directly, please email product@addigy.com.

- AI Controls Benchmarks - This is not AI. No data is processed by any models.
- Instant Reports - Prompt input from Report Designer Chat only. No customer data is sent to any model.
- Smart Filters - Prompt input from Report Designer Chat only. No customer data is sent to any model.
- Addigy MCP - No customer data is sent to any model.
What are the AI sub-processors?
The features run on AWS Bedrock, using Anthropic Claude and Cohere models as the underlying AI models.
How is MCP access authenticated and scoped, and what can an external agent retrieve?
Addigy's MCP Server operates using the Addigy API Key, which can be curated with custom permissions. Depending on what permissions the Addigy Administrator selects for the designated API Key, dictates the actions the MCP can access. API Keys cannot be scoped to specific policies and will have access to all devices in the tenant.
