Types Of Device Codes Addigy Saves
Addigy will store the following device codes:
- Activation Lock
- Lock Codes
- Erase Codes
- FileVault 2 Escrowed Keys
- Recovery Lock
How To View Device Codes For One Device
To see codes for a specific device first grab the serial number of the device then go to the Devices page > Tools > Device Codes as shown in the screenshot below:
Enter the serial number in the field and click Add.
Any available codes will appear for the specific serial number you entered.
Note:
- You can also view device codes for a single device within the device's GoLive page > Security (tab).
How To View Device Codes For Multiple Devices
To pull codes for multiple devices go to the Devices page and select up to 15 devices using the empty box on the left of the GoLive text. Once your devices are selected navigate to Tools > Device Codes
All of the selected devices will display their available codes.
Exporting Device Codes
To export devices codes you can click on the Export All Data as a CSV button on the right side of the Add button.
Notes:
- Only the codes for the selected serial numbers will be exported in the CSV file. If more than 15 devices need their codes exported you will need to select the additional devices and click on the Device Codes tool then click on the Export All Data as a CSV button.
- The Device Codes tool requires the "Edit Policies" and "View Devices" role permissions in Addigy, which the default admin and owner roles contain.
- This tool is capable of retrieving bypass codes of devices that have been deleted from Addigy as long as you have the serial number of the device.
