You can assign or unassign devices from Policies directly from a device's GoLive page or in bulk from the Devices page. With Flex Policies enabled, devices can belong to multiple Policies simultaneously.
Option 1: From the GoLive Page (Single Device)
Use this method to adjust Policy assignments for a single device.
- Navigate to the GoLive page for the device.

Click the blue Policies... link — this displays the number of Policies the device is currently assigned to.
- In the panel that appears, search for the Policy you want to assign or unassign.
- Policies with a checked box are currently assigned; uncheck to unassign.
- Policies with an unchecked box are not assigned; check to assign.

To quickly find currently assigned Policies, check the Show assigned only checkbox below the search bar.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Option 2: From the Devices Page (Bulk)
Use this method to assign or unassign Policies across multiple devices at once.
- Navigate to the Devices page and select the devices you want to update. Use the filter bars at the top of the page to narrow down your device list.
- Click the Tools dropdown and select either Add policies... or Remove policies... under Bulk Actions.
- In the window that appears, search for and select the Policy you want to assign or remove.
- Confirm your selection. The Policy assignments will be updated, and affected devices will receive any new Policy assets at their next check-in.
