With Flex Policies enabled, devices can be assigned and unassigned from multiple policies.
Note: If Flex Policies is not enabled, devices can be moved from one policy to another.
GoLive Option
To adjust assigned Policies via the GoLive page:
- Navigate to the GoLive page of a device.
- Select the blue text next to "Policies...". This represents the number of policies the device is currently assigned to.
- Search for the Policy you are looking to assign or unassign. Assigned Policies have a checked box, and unassigned Policies have an unchecked box.
Note: If you are specifically looking to unassign a Policy, you can quickly filter assigned Policies by clicking the "Show assigned only" checkbox under the search bar. - Once you have made your Policy adjustments, click the Save button.
Devices Page Option
- On the Devices page, select the Devices you want to assign to a new policy. You can filter devices using the filter bars up at the top of the page.
- In the Tools dropdown menu, select "Add policies..." or "Remove policies..."
- Once selected, a window will pop up where you can assign/unassign the relevant Policy.
- When complete, the devices’ policy assignments will be updated and they will receive new policy assets during their next check-in.
