With the recently released support for Declarative configurations and settings in Addigy, you can now set up and deploy managed bookmarks for Safari by using the Safari Settings payload.
If you are not already familiar with all things related to Declerative configurations and settings in Addigy, please read this article:
Device Settings - Declaration Configuration Object Deployment
Note: Declarative settings in Addigy only support on OS 26+. For Safari bookmarks, this is supported on both macOS 26+ and iOS 26+.

- Navigate to Catalog > Device Settings and click New
- Select the Safari Settings payload
- Choose Safari Bookmarks
- Add a name for the payload
- Include the Managed Bookmarks setting and click Add item
- You will need to define a Group Identifier and a Title
- The Group Identifier simply needs to be a unique string. It can really be anything, like "General Bookmarks". This won't be displayed to the end-users.
- If the same group identifier is used elsewhere, bookmarks will be placed under this group.
- The Title of the group will be what the end-users see in Safari. For example, a title of "Addigy Items" will show on-device like this:
- The Group Identifier simply needs to be a unique string. It can really be anything, like "General Bookmarks". This won't be displayed to the end-users.

- You will need to configure a Title, and choose whether it'll be a URL or a Folder
- You must choose only one option between URL and Folder.
- If you choose URL, you can enter the desired URL that the bookmark itself will direct to.
- If you choose Folder, this will add a sub-folder under your group, where you can nest additional URLs, like so:
- Once you have everything configured to how you like it, deploy it to a test device (if possible) and ensure it appears on the device as you intended
